Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. Her professional career has seen her win twelve WTA singles titles, which includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. Doubles is another area where she excels. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. Alongside her fellow Belgian tennis star, she also took home the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in the year 2019, making the Sunshine Double. Just four pairs of women's tennis had achieved this achievement. On 23 August 2021 she climbed to the second spot in the world singles ranking her top ranking again in the month of January in 2023. She climbed up to the top of the rankings for doubles the year following, having triumphing at Melbourne. It made her the second Belarusian tennis player to be successful in tennis. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her during her 2018 season to the close of her 2020 campaign. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has been coaching her since the year 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, being followed by Maria Sharapova.
